James Madison pulled off what may have been the biggest upset in I-AA football history with its 21-16 win at #13 Virginia Tech on Saturday.
JMU quarterback Drew Dudzik threw for one touchdown and ran for two second-half scores, including a 12-yard run with 13:45 to go that gave the Dukes their first lead of the game.
Virginia Tech (0-2) seemed to be in position to retake the lead twice in the final minutes, but a fourth-down pass from Tyrod Taylor to Jarrett Boykin in the end zone fell incomplete, and later running back Darren Evans fumbled at the JMU 12 to give the ball back to Madison.
