Baltimore tops Seattle, 3-2

lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesWei-Yin Chen gave up three hits in seven and a third innings, and Adam Jones and Chris Davis homered, to lift Baltimore to a 3-2 win at Seattle on Monday.

Chen (6-6, 3.21 ERA) gave up a run on three hits, striking out five and walking two.

Zach Britton gave up an unearned run in the ninth, but got Jesus Montero to strike out swinging with two outs and a runner on first to close out his 28th save.

Davis was 2-for-4 with two RBI for the Orioles (57-54), who are four and a half games back of the New York Yankees in the American League East, and two back in the AL wild-card race.
