nationals_logoJordan Zimmerman scattered six hits over eight scoreless innings, and Washington shut out Toronto, 2-0, in the opening game of a day-night doubleheader on Tuesday.

The game was a make-up from Monday’s rainout.

Drew Storen put in a 1-2-3 ninth for his 17th save.
