A mix of professional and celebrity amateur chefs will be dishing their favorites St. Patrick’s Day at the 10th annual Taste of the Town sponsored by Waynesboro Downtown Development Inc.
Irish music provided by Scruffy Murphy will serve as the backdrop for the food sampling, which features defending Taste of the Town champion Chris Faris from Avante of Waynesboro among the participants.

The event runs from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Fairfax Hall, 1101 Reservoir St., Waynesboro. Tickets are $20 for adults in advance and $25 at the door, $35 for couples in advance and $40 at the door, $10 for ages 13-18 and under 12 is free. A special VIP package is available for $50 a person.

Tickets can be purchased at the WDDI office at 301 W.
