Mick Foley once flew off the Hell in a Cell 22 feet to the Spanish announce table. With that image in mind, it’s hard to imagine a guy willing to please paying fans more than the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame inductee, who is bringing his one-man comedy show/fan Q&A to Waynesboro on Saturday, April 13.
“Generally, I almost always exceed their limited expectations,” Foley deadpanned in an interview on Monday. “People have no idea what to expect. And they usually leave happy that they made the decision to take a chance on it.”
Foley, a three-time WWE world champion, has been performing comedy for four years. A staple to the shows is the Q&A portion to the show, which are “a lot of fun,” and often leads to “better stories than I could have thought of on my own.”
“I have a story that I’m going to keep in the show that came about as a result of an answer to a question at a Q&A. So I look forward to the opportunity to answer the questions, and to do it in as entertaining a way as possible,” Foley said.
