Augusta County Railroad Museum set to open new location in Waynesboro

The Augusta County Railroad Museum has found a new home on Main Street in Downtown Waynesboro.

The 413 W. Main St. location, which features 5,000 square feet of space on two levels, is set to open for the holiday season on Black Friday, Nov. 29, with the hours that day having the museum open from 1-5 p.m.

Admission is free.

Additional hours:


  • Saturdays: Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14, Dec. 21, Dec. 28, 1-5 p.m.
  • Sundays: Dec. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 15, Dec. 22, Dec. 29, 1-4 p.m.
