A single-vehicle crash in Lancaster County claimed the life of Weems, Va.,, woman on Saturday.
According to Virginia State Police, the 6:11 p.m. crash on Taylor Creek Road involved a 2018 Jeep Cherokee driven by Wanda Marie Rose, 66, of Weems, Va., which ran off the road to the right while traveling north on Taylor Creek Road.
The vehicle then overturned, causing her to be ejected, and she succumbed to injuries on the scene.
According to VSP, Rose was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation.
