Golf: University of Virginia’s Andrew Orischak repeats on VaSID All-State Team

uva virginiaVirginia golfer Andrew Orischak (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) has been named to the 2020 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) University Division Men’s Golf All-State Team.

It marks the second consecutive year Orischak has been honored by the organization. He was named a second-team selection.

Orischak led UVA in scoring this season with a 71.48 stroke average. He had two top-10 finishes during the season and was UVA’s top performer in four of his six tournament appearances. His top performances included a runner-up showing at the Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate and a seventh-place finish at the John Burns Intercollegiate.

Earlier this season, Orischak was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America PING All-East Region Team.
