Tom Garrett plays Clinton Foundation card in Fifth District race

Fifth District Republican congressional candidate Tom Garrett is going full Clinton Foundation. His campaign hyped a call from Garrett for a full investigation into the activities of the Clinton Foundation in a press release on Thursday.

“The newest revelation of Hillary Clinton proves once again that she is unfit for the presidency. Before this week we knew she mishandled classified information during her tenure as Secretary of State, thereby putting this nation in danger. She also boldly asked, ‘What difference does it make’ with regard to the lives lost in Benghazi which, as a veteran, is not something I want to hear from a potential Commander-in-Chief,” said Garrett, who deserves extra points for working Benghazi into his press statement.

Garrett is opposed by Democrat Jane Dittmar, a former member of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors, in the race for the seat in the Fifth currently held by Republican Robert Hurt.
