The Center will be closed on Tuesday, June 14 as the members go on a field trip. They will be traveling up to Camp Overlook, a United Methodist Church camp, in Keezletown.

The camp is preparing for a summer season of church camp weeks for children. They are staffed by college students from all over the world who come together for the summer to be camp counselors. Each year, just before the church camp season starts, the Camp holds “Young at Heart Days” where they have activities and programs for older persons. The members of the Center always enjoy this trip to the camp in the mountains, especially because the camp counselors are always so cheerful and helpful.

While the Center is closed for on-site lunch and programs that day, Meals on Wheels will still be delivered.

Weekly Menu

MONDAY: Chicken rice casserole, broccoli, pears
TUESDAY: (Meals on Wheels only) Dixie pork roast, bread dressing, cauliflower and peas, mandarin oranges
