WTA presents River City Radio Hour Remembers Christmas

The second annual River City Radio Hour Remembers Christmas will be presented at WTA’s Gateway in Downtown Waynesboro beginning Tuesday.

The production features the Boogie Kings, Gwynne Wood, Marsha Howard, and Barbara Lawson. Vocalists Hank Fitzgerald and Samuel Johnson will alternate. A new treat will be The Barnyard Christmas Pageant by Elizabeth Massie. The comedy will feature George Shifflet’s Hens of Renown and other animals.

Matinee performances Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Doors open at 11 a.m., buffet at 11:30 a.m., performance at 1 p.m. Tickets: $47/person.

Evening performances Friday and Saturday: Doors open at 5:30 p.m., buffet at 6 p.m., performance at 7:30 p.m. Tickets $50/person.

WTA’s Gateway is at 329 West Main in Downtown Waynesboro.  The new venue has been in operation since August with weekly offerings of music, comedy and variety shows.  Performers and audience members praise the space and its exceptional acoustics .  For the Radio Hour Remembers Christmas Special WTA’s Gateway has been transformed by the holiday spirit.
