Workshop to offer ideas on dealing with stress of changing jobs

DuPont Community Credit Union and Big Sky Apartments are offering Practical Solutions for Today’s Economy. This is a free workshop open to anyone who wants to learn methods that will help them navigate through financial difficulties brought about by changes in employment.

The workshop will cover five topics of importance, especially for today’s economy. They include:
· Handle loans properly when money is tight
· Budget and manage credit to stay afloat while in-between jobs or facing an impending layoff
· Manage 401 (K) investments while employment is in transition and Evaluate health insurance (COBRA vs. Private) options
· Avoid fraud and identity theft in the current environment

There is no charge to attend the workshop, which will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 6–7 p.m. at Big Sky Apartments, 107 Community Way, located behind DCCU’s Community Way Office.
