The Marlins pushed the ball into the offensive third and kept the pressure on the Eagles defense, finally earning a corner kick.

The Eagles cleared the ball out of the box, but Virginia Wesleyan’s Zoe Traficante lofted a shot just over the outstretched hand of Eagles’ keeper Hayley Talbott, lifting the Marlins to the 3-2 victory.
