Winter Weather Advisory for Central Shenandoah Valley

snow-plow-headerThe National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Augusta and Rockingham today into Monday with a forecast for 2 to 4 inches of snow possible from an approaching early-spring storm.

The advisory is in effect from 2 p.m. Sunday through 6 p.m. Monday.

Snow and rain will overspread the region early to mid-afternoon on Sunday, with precipitation changing to all snow overnight. The heaviest snow is expected late tonight and into early Monday morning.
