Augusta County, Staunton and Waynesboro are under a Winter Storm Warning as the Shenandoah Valley is under the throes of a snow and ice storm today into Monday morning.
The warning is in effect through 10 a.m. Monday with a forecast of 1-3 inches of snow and sleet before the precipitation turns over to freezing rain this afternoon.
The greatest accumulation of ice is expected Sunday night.
