LOSER: Mr. “I Want To Cut His Nuts Off”

It’s been years since Jesse Jackson was relevant. Not that he’s all that relevant anymore after criticizing Barack Obama into a hot microphone after an interview on Fox News over the weekend.

It’s not exactly what he said – OK, saying you want to cut somebody’s, ahem, you know, off, is bad, m’kay? – but what he was saying it about. Namely, Obama’s Father’s Day speech in which he laid down the gauntlet to young men in the African-American community to be a part of their children’s lives.

That was what led Jackson to say what he said. Because, in his mind, Obama was “talking down to black people.”

TODAY’S HOT OR NOT: Four-day work weeks

If you’re working, it’s probably hot. If you’re talking about your kids having another day off from school, it’s probably not.

I understand we’re trying to keep the costs of running school systems in line. I’m all for that. Taxpayers fund the schools. I understand that. But don’t those same taxpayers have to figure out what to do with their kids that extra day?

(And I’m saying that, and I don’t have any kids of my own.)
