Wild and Scenic On Tour brings together a selection of films that tell a story about our planet, our beautiful and precious wildlands, and the people of the communities who love and defend them.  They open our eyes and hearts to fantastic experiences in remarkable places.  They beckon us towards action, highlight issues, and provide solutions.

The featured film in Charlottesville will be The Little Things where we follow professional snowboarders who have chosen to be outspoken and make positive changes towards a sustainable environment. This film is an initiative taken on by one of snowboarding’s most influential riders, Marie-France Roy, in hopes of inspiring others towards sustainability through inspirational speakers, positive ideas, and leading a healthy lifestyle. They keep it positive and showcase some of the little things that people can do to contribute to positive changes for the future of our environment.

At the Valley show the featured film is Oil and Water, which follows two boys coming of age in the middle of a toxic disaster. Hugo fights for the survival of his Amazonian tribe, while David attempts to revolutionize the oil industry. Their journeys lead them to explore a more just future for people around the world born with oil beneath their feet.
