#whyiwalk donnaI walk because one leisurely morning hanging out in my PJ’s I got a call.

Tracey had shot herself. “Could I go up to her house and be with her Dad until Vanessa got there?” In the 10 minutes it took me to dress and get there it never once occurred to me that this was going to be fatal. I had visions of injuries, ambulances, airlifting but I was soon to learn otherwise.

I walk to do whatever I can to possibly spare some other family this devastating tragedy and to aid with research, support, education and programs to help others in possibly recognizing the signs of someone struggling and get help for that person.
