policecar3The Waynesboro Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying two individuals responsible for a felony vandalism that occurred at local business last month.

On July 20, 2014 at approximately 3:30 p.m., employees of Gio’s Treasures, 101 East Broad Street, reported to police that a man had just smashed one of their windows.  Witnesses saw the man run across the street into a waiting gold GMC pick-up truck driven by a woman.  The vehicle then sped away.

Both suspects are described as being Caucasian. The store surveillance system captured images of the couple and the truck on the store lot just moments before the damaged occurred.

Anyone with information in this incident is asked to call the Waynesboro Police Department at (540) 942-6675 or Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1(800)322-2017.  Information given to Crime Stoppers may be given anonymously.  Callers with information that lead to an arrest in this case are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
