Kevin Blackburn Photography has donated two Nikon Professional Digital SLR systems to the photography department at Waynesboro High School.

The studio made the donation after making upgrades to its own equipment.

“I am hoping we can do the same each year as we update and upgrade our tools and equipment to stay on the cutting edge of our industry,” Blackburn said. By providing 1- to 2-year-old professional-level industry-standard equipment to the students, this will give them more opportunities in this industry by allowing them to use and gain experience with the true tools of the trade that professional photographers use every day to make a living,” Blackburn said.
