The VMI women’s water polo team will host the seven other Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference teams this weekend for 13 matches in Clark King Pool. Action begins each day at 9 a.m. and it will be the first league play for all schools this year.
VMI is scheduled to play Marist College Saturday at 3 p.m. and Siena College at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Keydets play St. Francis College (Brooklyn) and La Salle University Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. respectively.
The program’s two seniors, Caroline Wojtas and Sarah Dolitsky, will be honored in a short ceremony following the Keydets’ game against Siena Saturday.
VMI (10-4) last hosted a MAAC weekend two years ago, and went 3-1 in 2017, defeating La Salle, St. Francis and Iona.
Live stats will be available for all matches on The Fosh and VMI’s two contests on Sunday will be streamed live on ESPN3.
