Virginia Organizing hosts screening of ‘We’re Not Broke’

Virginia Organizing will host a screening of the documentary We’re Not Broke at the Staunton Public Library on Thursday, June 26 at 6:30 p.m. A discussion with James Madison University Professor of Economics Dr. J. Barkley Rosser will follow.

“When big corporations do not pay their fair share—and some even get tax refunds from the government—the tax burden falls on individuals and families,” said Virginia Organizing Augusta-Staunton-Waynesboro Chapter leader Elizabeth La Grua. “If corporations are going to benefit from public services like schools and infrastructure, they should at least be paying taxes like the rest of us.”
