Valley Music Academy adds new faculty

newspaperValley Music Academy welcomes new music faculty to the staff of professional music educators.

John Paul Gladwell is a highly regarded composer and producer, an innovative performing and recording artist and a respected teacher. He performed with acclaimed author/film director Bruce Wagner in a series of readings in Los Angeles, and two of his compositions appear on The Matrix: Special Edition DVD Box Set. A master of many styles of music, Gladwell is offering private instruction on cello, string bass, guitar and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

Dawn Lemasney, soprano, received a Master of Music degree from Westminster Choir College of Rider University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in music education (magna cum laude) from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania. Lemasney is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She was the recipient of the Keith Lance Kuhlmann Scholarship for musical performance, and was selected for the NATS Teaching Internship program.

Lemasney teaches VMA’s award winning Musikgarten program and offers private lessons in voice and beginning piano.

John Clark joins the VMA faculty as a guitar instructor. Clark studied at the University of Massachusetts and has studied with several guitar greats such as Sal Salvador (Stan Kenton’s guitarist), and Barry Galbraith of the NBC Orchestra. He has traveled throughout the US and performed all styles of music including, jazz, classical, rock, punk and R&B. Mr. Clark is a highly sought after performer throughout the region and an incredible guitar teachers.

Valley Music Academy is the largest private music school in the region, with more than 15 private instructors, offering lessons for over 30 instruments and voice. VMA has taught thousands of aspiring musicians of all ages since 2000.
