UVA women’s soccer hosts NCAA Tournament next weekend

uva soccerThe UVA women’s soccer team will host second and third round play of the 2014 NCAA Tournament next weekend at Klöckner Stadium. There will be a doubleheader Friday with a pair of second round games, followed by a third round game on Sunday.

On Nov. 21, the winner of the Kentucky/SIU Edwardsville game will play the winner of the Arizona State/Northern Arizona game at 3 p.m., followed by Virginia hosting Rutgers at 6 p.m. The winners of the second round games will meet Nov. 23 in the third round, with a game time to be announced Monday following the announcement of the NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship draw.

Tickets for each day are $9 for reserved seats, $7 for adult general admission and $5 for youth/student/senior citizen general admission. Fans can order tickets for the second and third round games online at VirginiaSports.com and by phone through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 800-542-UVA1 (8821) or 434-924-UVA1 (8821). Tickets are also available at the gate beginning one hour prior to the start of play each day.

On Friday, due to the men’s basketball game vs. George Washington at 7 p.m., the John Paul Jones Arena lots and garage, the University Hall lots and the McCue lot are reserved for basketball permit holders. Parking for women’s soccer will be free in the Emmet/Ivy Garage.
