These grants are awarded to the foundation’s local chambers which demonstrate an extraordinary sense of duty towards the Hispanic entrepreneurs whom they serve. The awarding of grants took place at the 2018 Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C.

What are the USHCC Local Chamber Grants?

The USHCC local chambers grants is a yearly program that ensures the local chambers have access to funds. These funds support their programs; as well as strengthen and develop small private ventures. The grants are diverse and vary in size. They have been very instrumental in helping various programs and projects; starting from promoting environment-friendly energy, empowering young entrepreneurs, and advancing diversity and inclusion.

Fernandez Fernand, the interim president and CEO of the USHCC Foundation, concurred that their local chambers grants empower the USHCC to deepen their friendship with local chambers. He also praised the level of ideation from the various committees on new projects which help businesses owned by Latinos across the country. These chambers are core establishments of the larger foundation, and the USHCC gleefully aids them.

The 2018 USHCC Local Chamber Grant Beneficiaries Include:

  • The Young Entrepreneurs’-Academy of Arizona Local U.S.H.C.C.
  • The E.S.L entrepreneurship Program of the Greater-Dallas Hispanic Chamber-of- Commerce.
  • Small Business Technical-Assistant Program from Greater-Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
  • Hispanic Entrepreneurship-Training Program of the Statewide-Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey.

Contribution to Beneficiaries

USHCC recognized these beneficiaries during the opening ceremony of the 2018 Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C.

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce commits itself to promoting the development, economic growth, and interests of over 4.37 million business owned by Latinos. The aggregate of these businesses contributes to more than seven hundred billion dollars to the American economy every year. Because of them, the USA can sustain and improve its economy year after year.

Additionally, the foundation advocates the interests of two hundred and sixty major American corporations. It fills in as the umbrella association for over 200 local chambers and business affiliations across the nation.

Purpose of the USHCC National Convention

The USHCC National Convention is the largest platform where American Hispanic Businesses can network and correspond. It has served the Hispanic community for over ten years and has continuously contributed to bringing in millions to the forefront of the national financial plan.

Apart from fostering unity and cooperation among Hispanic owned businesses, the foundation also provides a chance to set up strong business organizations. This is done through discourse, systems administration, workshops, and many more beneficial programs.

Since its establishment twenty years ago, the foundation has been teaching and engaging the next generation of Hispanic business pioneers and business people. It is possible through an assortment of projects and grants which help business development, energize enterprise, and impact local chambers to serve their people better.

Every year, these projects provide a considerable number of entrepreneurs with specialized assets, correspondences systems, and the business intuitions they will need to succeed.
