snow-plow-headerResidents of Augusta and Rockingham counties are waking up to a white post-Christmas, with snow totals in the 1- to 2-inch range and a coating of ice the dominant features.

The National Weather Service has the region under a Winter Weather Advisory throughout the day on Wednesday, with a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain expected.

Possible accumulations are in the area of 2 to 4 inches with a tenth to two-tenths of an inch of ice on top of that.
