United Way of Greater Augusta assisted nTelos is distributing flat screen TV’s to community non-profits.
nTelos contacted the United Way to help get flat screen TVs into non-profits across the Greater Augusta region to have the largest impact. United Way contacted local non-profits from various sectors. The non-profits submitted requests on the use of the TVs, and selection was made based on impact and the varied populations that could be affected by this donation.
The TVs will serve in educating, informing, entertaining, and training members of the community from infants to seniors in the areas of academics, health, finance, history. Theatre, art, safety and community services.
