The following list of travel hotspots, a mix of the popular and the unusual, are some of the most breath-taking on the globe and offer the most spectacular views you’ll find anywhere on Earth.

 

Canada

Rugged, vast and wild, Canada has a vast array of landscapes to explore. Urban cities, craggy coasts, dense forests and azure lakes are all found here, making Canada is one of the most stunning countries in the world. Jasper Lake is an emerald gem surrounded by the Rockies and well worth visiting if you’re vacationing in Canada, while whale-watching in the picturesque city of Quebec is an unforgettable experience.

 

Iceland

Studded with volcanoes, waterfalls and hot springs, Iceland is unlike anywhere else and it serves as a really spectacular vacation spot. Seljalandsfoss is an astonishing waterfall on the southern coast which is fed from water melting from the glacier-capped Eyjafjallajokull volcano. The otherworldly Blue Lagoon, a milky turquoise hot spring is a must-visit attraction, especially on a Superjeep offroad tour, and the famous Golden Circle is home to a number of natural wonders.

 

Philippines

The Philippines is made up of over 7,000 island, so naturally the attraction to this area of the world is its gorgeous beaches. Regularly voted as the world’s most beautiful islands, Palawan Island is heaven on Earth – packed with charming fishing villages, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and tropical wildlife, it’s also perfect for adventurers who want to camp and just live beach life to the full.

 

Australia

No list of beautiful destinations would be complete without mentioning Australia. A smorgasbord of landscapes and climates, Australia has something for everyone. The Twelve Apostles along the 150-mile Great Ocean Road in Victoria are some of the top attractions, as well as the Great Barrier Reef, Whitehaven Beach and the red sandstone monolith of Uluru National Park.

 

Myanmar

Myanmar is an unspoilt area of Southeast Asia, scattered with deserted tropical beaches, stunning Buddhist temples and sprawling tea plantations. In particular, the temple town of Bagan has over 2,000 beautiful temples, pagodas and striking 9th century monuments. The mix of traditional architecture and natural wonders make this an exciting and exotic destination to visit.

 

Switzerland

The Alpine scenery of Switzerland is begging to be admired and explored. Vacations here are about the cultural cities that are rich in heritage, the peaceful and crystalline lakes and the towering mountain vistas. There’s a good reason why Switzerland is such a popular destination and the moment you look at the surroundings, you’ll understand why.

 

Croatia

Croatia has become a hugely popular tourist destination in recent years and the scenery is the main draw. It’s a truly gorgeous place to explore. The Plitvice Lakes National Park is complete with sapphire lakes and limestone canyons, thundering waterfalls and beautiful hiking trails – not to mention the jewel-like islands that dot the coastline of the country as a whole.

 

Alicante

Alicante is a coastal town in Spain. It is famous for its narrow streets and lively night life. There are many notable sites which you can see while in Alicante. The most famous being the castle of Santa Barabara, which is located high above the city and the port there. There are also some beautiful colour areas in this city such as Barrio de la Santa Cruz. This colour area is located in the old quarter of the city.  If you want to venture out to the further parts you may want to consider a service which offers car hire in Alicante. Hiring a car will enable you the freedom to explore this beautiful Spanish coastal town.
