40 Volunteers Needed for Waynesboro Senior Center Bingo by Aug. 30

Thanks to the generous donation by the Auxiliary of the Waynesboro First Aid Crew of its Bingo equipment, VPAS will be able to resume the Auxiliary’s legacy of offering Charitable Gaming/Bingo to Waynesboro and the surrounding community beginning in September at the Waynesboro Senior Center.

The Waynesboro Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels (MOW) program had a couple of drivers drop out of the Fishersville route recently. Linda could really use the help, so if you know of someone who’d be a reliable volunteer for MOW put them in contact with her: Linda Roetto, linda@vpas.info or by calling 942-1838.

July 8-10 Summer Billiards Tournament

Waynesboro Senior Center will sponsor an Eight-Ball double elimination tournament this month. All our pool players are encouraged to sign up during the first week in July. Players will be put in brackets by random draw. Clyde Young will officiate.

July 22: Park, Pool and Pizza Outing

We’re planning a day at Ridgeview Park, Monday, July 22 for those interested in spending some time outdoors and dipping into the beautiful pool. Our theme is relaxation, so no pressure, just enjoy the day. And wear plenty of sunscreen!
