It’s official: Louisville joins the ACC

The University Louisville’s long-awaited entry into the Atlantic Coast Conference becomes official today. “We have looked forward to this day since November of 2012, when our Council of Presidents voted to accept Louisville as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford.

Playing in their final home game at Cameron Hall seems to have sparked VMI forward D.J. Covington and guard Rodney Glasgow. The former posted 29 points while the latter dropped in 26 to help spark the Keydets to an 88-76 win over visiting Radford University Saturday afternoon.
