Inspector Kathy, the detective for Wayne Theatre Alliance’s Murder at Fairfax Hall Mysteries, has order a number of suspects implicated in the death of a prominent local developer to appear at the presentation of Murder on the 13th on Nov 13, 2009 at Fairfax Hall.

Implicated in the murder of Bill Hausrath, a prominent local developer, are members of the media, local activists, a local business person and a well-known Nellysford citizen.

Each of the suspects is known to have seen or argued with the victim recently. Martha Woodroof of WMRA-FM was seen in conversation with the victim the day he was killed. Gen. Wayne Jefferson, Ret., a mover and shaker in Nellysford, was involved in land speculations with the victim. Shirley Bridgeforth, executive director of the Heritage Museum, was a vocal opponent of the victim. Mary Katherine Froehlich, owner of Stone Soup Books and Café, left her business the fateful day for an undisclosed meeting at Fairfax Hall. Channel 29 weatherman and outdoor enthusiast, Clayton Stiver, is known to have argued with the victim the day before the body was found. All of the suspects will appear before the assembled audience and be interrogated.

Following the interrogation, the audience will have the opportunity to meet with the suspects and ask their own questions. Special clues that may help solve the mystery will be for sale. At the end of the evening, Inspector Kathy will collect the audience members’ solution and choose the best.

The Murder at Fairfax Hall series is a delightful evening of fun, mystery, and audience participation. After appetizers and drinks and a buffet dinner, the audience will question, search and help solve the mystery. The best solution will win a prize.

Murder on the 13th will begin at 6:30 p.m. with appetizers and drinks. Dinner will follow at 7 p.m. The investigation begins at 8 p.m. The price of the evening is $50 per person including two drinks. Tables for eight can be reserved for an additional fee. Deadline for reservations is Wednesday, Nov. 11.
