During the next three weeks, the following streets in Staunton will be repaved, causing some delays and road closures.
- Pleasant Terrace from North Coalter Street to dead end
- Vine Street from Pleasant Terrace to North Coalter Street
- Sullivan Street from Arlington Street to Churchville Avenue
- Middlebrook Avenue from Lacy B. King Way to corporate limits
- North Augusta Street from Terry Court to the intersection of North Coalter and Augusta streets
- Harpers Court from North Augusta Street to Hook Lane
- Hook Lane from Harpers Court to Taylor Street
- Westwood Boulevard from Sudbury Street to Forest Street
- Forest Street from Marr Street to Montgomery Avenue
- Fallon Street from North Augusta Street to dead end
- Hudson Avenue from Ann Street to Burnley Drive
Motorists should use alternate routes and expect delays, detours and minor interruptions. The exact date, time and sequence of work are unknown, and timing is subject to change as a result of inclement weather conditions and operational delays. Motorists are also encouraged to allow extra travel time for these routes and to be mindful of City workers.
