Staunton Pride 2020 will go virtual this summer, with a two-month walk-up to the scheduled July 24-26 celebration.

The festival’s organizing committee is currently working to transition the annual Pride celebration into a virtual experience to include programming and content over multiple online formats including livestreams, podcasts, blog posts, and other online content.

The lineup will be announced on the Staunton Pride website www.stauntonpride.org.

The Staunton Pride Committee has identified four major themes to focus on for the next eight weeks that include sexual health, LGBTQ+ history, youth and families/LGBTQ+ 101, and Queer Voices from the community.

If you, a friend or family member is in need of speaking to someone during this time, please reach out to the Shenandoah LGBTQ Center. The Center has continued to support the entire community through virtual connectivity and social distancing approved activities that keep our community members safe.
