Staunton Police seek help in ID’g suspect in fraud case

staunton-fraud-suspectThe Staunton Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a female involved in fraudulent activity at the DuPont Community Credit Union on Community Way in Staunton on July 23rd and 24th.

DCCU reports that 82 fraudulent transactions have resulted from information obtained from a skimmer device being installed on an ATM. The suspect approached the ATM on July 23rd at 4:30 PM and 7:44 PM, and again on July 24th at 10:26 AM and 2:53 PM.

DCCU customers who accessed the ATM between the dates noted above are encouraged to check their accounts carefully and contact the Staunton Police Department regarding fraudulent charges on their account.
