Sign up now for a children’s secret workshop on Saturday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m.-noon.

Peg Sheridan (award winning artist and fun, experienced teacher) will lead children 6-9 years old (we are flexible with age parameters) in artfully creating and wrapping 3 secret gifts for special people in each child’s life.

The $35 fee ($30 for members) includes instruction, materials, and gift wrap.  Pre-registration is required by calling the Staunton Augusta Art Center at 540-885-2028.  This Santa’s workshop will take place in the R. R. Smith Center for History and Art, 20 S. New Street in historic downtown Staunton across from the Visitor Center and New Street parking garage entrance.

Accompanying adults will all receive a 10% discount at Art for Gifts in the 1st floor galleries while the youngsters are creating their own “art for gifts” in the classroom upstairs.
