Staunton Augusta Art Center to open new exhibit on Friday

staunton augusta art centerThe Staunton Augusta Art Center announces a new exhibition, Vestiges: recent paintings and monotypes by Frank Hobbs, which opens Friday from 5-7 pm with a gallery talk at 6 pm.

The Staunton Augusta Art Center galleries are located in the Smith Center for History and Art at 20 S. New Street in historic downtown Staunton.  Routine gallery hours are 10am-5pm Monday-Friday and 10am-4pm Saturday.  There is no admission charge and everyone is welcome.  Paintings are available for purchase.

A former Staunton resident and well-known, award winning artist who founded the Beverley Street Studio School, Hobbs is now on the art faculty at Ohio Wesleyan University.
