The following policies will be in effect for the 2015 Dr Pepper Atlantic Coast Conference Football Championship Game, each of which mirrors those in place for NFL games at Bank of America Stadium:
Stadium Security
A ‘clear bag’ policy will be enforced. Bank of America Stadium encourages fans to arrive early and refrain from bringing any type of bags to game. Mirroring the policy that’s in place at NFL games, fans will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package, or container at stadium plaza areas, stadium gates, or when approaching queue lines of fans awaiting entry into the stadium:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12.”
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, or 4.5″ x 6.5″ with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.
- Closed cell seat cushions without zippers or clasps will be permitted.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the gate.
- There will be express lanes for patrons without bags.
Security remains a priority for ACC events. The league, Carolina Panthers and Bank of America Stadium will continue to work closely with law enforcement to maintain a secure environment.
Game Tickets
With this year’s game expected to have a capacity crowd, individuals are cautioned against purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources. The Bank of America Stadium Ticket Office, Ticketmaster (ticketmaster.com), the participating team ticket offices, Charlotte Sports Foundation, as well as the ACC’s ticketing partners Rhino Sports and PrimeSport (the official hospitality provider of the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game) are the only authorized sellers.
Many counterfeit tickets may look genuine, but contain a barcode that is no longer valid or designed for another event. The Bank of America Stadium Ticket Office will not be able to assist fans who have purchased counterfeit or voided tickets with being admitted to the game or receiving a refund.
Alcohol Sales
The sale of beer and wine to those of legal age will be extended to all ticketed patrons. These beverages have been sold in premium areas at ACC Championship events for several years.
As schools across the country have introduced sales to their athletic events, there has been no indication of an increase in alcohol-related incidents, and some have reported a decrease. The alcohol policy enforced by the Carolina Panthers at NFL games will be in effect for the 2015 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game.

2015 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship: The 2015 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game will be played in primetime on Dec. 5 at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium.
