Obama for America will be holding an event featuring Bruce Springsteen, local elected officials and volunteers on Tuesday, Oct. 23.

As part of the Obama campaign’s effort to turn out voters across the Commonwealth, Springsteen will give a special appearance at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion in Charlottesville.

Free tickets will be available at OFA offices in the Charlottesville until 9 p.m. Monday and beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Tickets will also be available at 8:00am tomorrow at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion box office.

“I’m here today because for 30 years I’ve been writing about the distance between the American dream and the American reality,” Springsteen said during a recent appearance in Iowa. “I’m here because our vote is one of the principle ways we get to determine that equation, we get to close that distance. Voting matters, elections matter.”

The Charlottesville event with Bruce Springsteen is free and open to the public. Tickets are required and will be available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis at the offices listed below.
