Skyland Resort offers Wine Dinner Series starting in May

shen national parkThe getaway season has started and Skyland Resort located in Shenandoah National Park has spiced up the weekend activities with a monthly wine dinner starting in May.  The Shenandoah Seasonings Vintner package includes overnight accommodations and a 4-course paired Virginia wine dinner for two people starting at $366.00.

Executive Chef Francois Ternes has combined regional specialties with the sumptuous views of the Shenandoah Valley to create monthly wine dinners paired with award winning Virginia wines.

The first in the series will be Friday, May 16, featuring Horton Vineyard. The following dinners will be on Friday, June 20 and Friday, July 18 and feature Bob Gadino of Gadino Cellars.  Each dinner will feature four locally sourced courses starting with an appetizer, salad, choice of entrée and concluding with a dessert.

The $366.00 2 day/1 night weekend package for two people, includes Friday night lodging, four-course dinner with wine pairings, Shenandoah etched wine glasses, breakfast for two Saturday morning, gratuities, utility fee and SNP Trust donation. Taxes not included. For guests wishing to dine and not stay on property, there is a $130 per person rate available.
