Single-lane travel on Route 42 in Augusta County for bridge repairs

augusta countyRoute 42 (Scenic Highway) in Augusta County is restricted to a single travel lane while crews repair a bridge that was damaged by a vehicle strike early this morning (Wednesday, June 13). Flaggers will control traffic 24 hours a day at this location, which is about 1.3 miles north of Route 250 (Churchville Avenue/Hanky Mountain Highway) near Churchville.

Repairs are expected to be complete by the evening of Thursday, June 14. All work is weather permitting.
