ASN, which owns 156 stations nationwide in 80 markets, will air seven of the Monarchs’ contests, beginning with the home opener on Sept. 12 with cross-town rival Norfolk State at 7 p.m.   The network will also air the N.C. State contest on Sept. 19 (7 pm), the first meeting between ODU and C-USA newcomer Charlotte on Oct. 17 (3:30 pm), and Nov. 28 season finale with Florida Atlantic, all from Foreman Field at SB Ballard Stadium.  Road games aired by ASN include ODU at Marshall on Oct. 3 (3:30 pm), at UTSA on Nov. 7 (7 pm) and at Southern Miss on Nov. 21 (3:30 pm).

“ODU football fans across the country will be pleased this fall with another comprehensive national television package for Monarch football,” says Director of Athletics Dr. Wood Selig. “ Whether home or away, the overwhelming majority of our games will be broadcast to fans and followers nationally allowing the University and ODU athletics dynamic exposure and branding opportunities while showcasing our exciting and successful football program.”

Conference USA announced last week that FOX Sports will broadcast two Monarch home games on Oct. 31 vs. Western Kentucky and Nov. 14 vs. UTEP. FOX will release kick times of those contests two weeks prior to the games.

Old Dominion’s season opener at Eastern Michigan on Sept. 5 will be carried live on ESPN3 at 3 p.m.

“We are excited with the TV games for 2015. Monarch fans everywhere will be able to see our team play home and away. Our move to C-USA has been great for our program with the increased national exposure the league provides,” Head Coach Bobby Wilder adds.

Season tickets for the Monarchs seven 2015 home games are on sale now, and good seats are still available. Fans can improve their seat location by joining the Old Dominion Athletic Foundation and making a gift to support athletic scholarships and programming needs. To purchase tickets, go to www.YNottix.com, and to contact ODAF, go to www.olddominionaf.com or call 757 683-6963.
