Schultz Theatre to present Crystal Clear

The Schultz Theatre and School of Performing Arts will present its first drama, Crystal Clear on July 8 and July 9 at 7 p.m. and July 10 at 3 p.m.

Imagine being blind, or knowing that you are about to become blind in a world not made for those without sight. Local actors Forrest Sassaman, Elyshia Terry, and Becca Wishon take on the challenging roles of Richard, Thomasina and Jane.

This beautiful and moving play confronts the basic question of how successfully two blind people can live in a world made for the sighted. Working on two levels, the play is a sharp study of the experience of blindness as well as a picture of love trying to shut out the dark.

The Schultz Theatre and School of Performing Arts is located at 9357 North Congress Street in New Market. Tickets cost $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
