Jane Dittmar, a member of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors, has already announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination.

According to Sabato, possible Republican candidates in the Fifth include Charlie Hurt, Robert’s brother, and State Sen. Bill Stanley.
