Route 778 in Augusta County to be closed Oct. 6-9 for pipe replacement

road-work-headerPart of Route 778 (Knightly Mill Road) in Augusta County is scheduled to close at 8 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014 for a pipe replacement. This closure will extend from Route 750 (Keezletown Road) to Route 773 (Westview School Road) in the Weyers Cave area.

Drivers using Route 778 will be directed on one of these posted detours:

  • Eastbound traffic will turn north on Route 750, east on Route 256 (Weyers Cave Road) and south on Route 773 back to Route 778.
  • Westbound traffic will turn north on Route 773, west on Route 256 (Weyers Cave Road) and south on Route 750 back to Route 778.

Route 778 is expected to reopen about 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 9. All work is weather permitting.
