The RMH Women’s Center will host its annual Women’s Weekend Away retreat Sept. 9-11 at Horizons Retreat and Conference Center, just five miles north of Harrisonburg.
“This spa-like retreat will feature time for relaxation and rest, and time to renew or create new friendships,” said Julie Alderfer-Stauffer, RN, clinical educator, RMH Women’s Center. “Guests will enjoy facials, yoga classes, health seminars, optional massages by a certified massage therapist and gourmet meals and snacks.”
The Horizons at Valley Pike meeting and retreat center is a cozy, wood beam lodge with a working fireplace on 30 acres of scenic countryside. Alderfer-Stauffer noted the retreat’s new location, single beds, and new price make it easier than ever for women to join in a weekend getaway, either by themselves or with a friend.
The retreat cost is $180 per person (shared room). Package includes lodging, meals, taxes and tip. Optional massage is $50. Space is limited.
