The NBA is reportedly considering a plan for resuming its season that would include a five- to seven-game regular-season finale and a 16-team playoff, all played on one site with no fans.

This from a report by Mark Berman in the New York Post published on Monday.

The playoffs would be reduced from the usual best-of-seven format to a series of best-of-threes.

The frontrunner to be the one site to host everything is Las Vegas, which hardcore NBA fans know as a main site for the Summer League.

Other sites under consideration include Orlando, Atlantic City, Hawaii and the Bahamas.

The time frame for getting back to it would be late June, with the start of the 2020-2021 season delayed until Christmas.
