Billionaire Donald Trump now leads the crowded Republican presidential field in Iowa, according to a new poll from Public Policy Polling.
The latest PPP poll of Iowa voters, released on Monday, has Trump at 19 percent, with Ben Carson and Scott Walker at 12 percent, and Jeb Bush at 11 percent.
Former business executive Carly Fiorina, who was left out of the 10-candidate Fox News Channel prime-time debate last week, is the only other candidate in double digits, at 10 percent.
Hillary Clinton continues to have a big lead on the Democratic side in Iowa, polling at 52 percent, with Bernie Sanders a distant second at 25 percent, Martin O’Malley in third at 7 percent, and former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb at 3 percent.
