Brian Dozier went deep for the two-run walk-off homer that lifted the Minnesota Twins to a 4-2 10-inning win over the Baltimore Orioles Monday night.
Dozier’s blast, his 17th of the season, came off Orioles reliever Tommy Hunter (2-2). Wei-Yin Chin got a no-decision with another solid start, giving up two runs on four hits in seven innings of work, striking out five and walking three.
Phil Hughes had an equally strong start for the Twins in a no-decision, giving up two runs on nine hits in six and a third innings, striking out three and walking one.
Manny Machado and Adam Jones each hit solo homers for the O’s, who are now a game and a half out of first in the American League East.
