Friday, Oct. 2, 9:30 – 11 a.m. – Chat-N-Play. Active play and discovery for your infant or toddler – conversation for YOU! Open to children ages 0-3 and their caregivers.

Saturday, Oct. 3, 1 p.m. – The Art of Ray Yoder. Yoder’s son, Judge Yoder, gives this presentation about the art of a Waynesboro artist who was a nationally known art educator, award-winning watercolorist, and professional painting instructor.

Tuesday, Oct. 6, 6 p.m. – Big Game Hunters. Play Snakes & Ladders, Connect Four, Scrabble and more in a big way. Ages 10 and up.

Thursday, Oct. 8, 9:30 a.m. – Basic Internet. This class teaches you how to set up an e-mail account, use web addresses, links, and search engines to navigate the Internet. Registration required.

Friday, Oct. 9, 7 p.m. – Family friendly Friday Night at the Movies. New releases with free popcorn and soda. Call the library for the featured film.

Tuesday, Oct. 13, 12 noon – Music at the Library presents Judy Chops performing bluegrass and country fusion.

Tuesday, Oct. 13, 6:30 p.m. – Pajama Night. Wear your best pajamas, hear a story, make a craft, share some surprises, and have a bedtime snack.

Thursday, Oct. 15, 1:30 p.m. – Introduction to Microsoft Word. This class teaches you how to create, edit, and format letters and other documents. Registration required.

Friday, Oct. 16, 1 p.m. – Senior Celebration Day. Senior citizens can enjoy an afternoon of fun, including entertainment by the Waynesboro Players, Bingo, and light refreshments.

Tuesday, Oct. 20, 6 p.m. – Gamers’ Lounge. Enlist for Call of Duty 3.

Wednesday, Oct. 21, 12-1 p.m. – Brown Bag Book Club. Read thought-provoking books and participate in fascinating and far-ranging discussion with other book lovers.

Wednesday, Oct. 21, 7-8 p.m. – Wednesday Night Book Club. Read thought-provoking books and participate in fascinating and far-ranging discussion with other book lovers.

Thursday, Oct. 22, 6 p.m. – Murder Mystery Game. Check at the library for details. Registration is required. Ages 10 and up.

Thursday, Oct. 29, 9:30 a.m. – Introduction to Microsoft Excel. This class teaches you how to perform calculations, manage lists, and work with data. Registration required.

Thursday, Oct. 29, 6 p.m. – Boo Party. Families are invited to enjoy a spooky story and create spooky crafts and snacks. Children and adults are welcome to dress in costume or casually.

Friday, Oct. 30, 7 p.m. – Friday Night at the Movies. Featuring new releases on the big screen. Free popcorn and soda provided. Check the library for the featured film.

9:30 a.m. Mother Goose Time is an interactive program featuring songs, finger-plays, books, movements, and nursery rhymes for children from birth through age two and their caregivers.
10:30 a.m. Preschool Story Time features books, stories, songs, puppets, flannel board activities, and crafts for children ages three through five accompanied by an adult.

Mamá Ganso, mother Goose in Spanish, features stories, songs, finger-plays, and movements for children from birth through age two and their caregivers.
10:30 a.m. Toddler Time has short and lively stories, puppets, songs, movements, finger-plays, activities, and crafts for children ages two and three accompanied by an adult.
