Hope_14On First Friday in January, OASIS will host a reception for a new exhibit titled “Gifted and Giving: Art is Mission.”

This group exhibit is by artists associated with AiM, Art is Mission. AiM is a group of artists who donate original works of their art for the purpose of raising funds for not-for-profit organizations, such as the Salvation Army, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, and any other not-for-profit chosen by the artists.

Art in this exhibit will be provided by these gifted artists: Lev Norford, Katherine Kramer Brown, Sarah Black Payne, brenda fairweather and Jim Harris. The designated beneficiaries of each piece of art will be displayed with the work.

The First Friday reception on Jan. 8, 2016 will include light refreshments and is free. This exhibit will continue through Feb. 29.
